Honda CBR250R Gets Street Sport Exhausts from Yoshimura

The bike that was bound to be a hit ever since it saw daylight in Milano, at last year’s EICMA show, is now receiving attention from the aftermarket component specialists at Yoshimura, just like its bigger siblings.

Specifically, the CBR250R entry level sportbike develops 7bhp in standard form, shy of the 33bhp restriction for category ‘A’ licence holders.

Yoshimura have developed a new R-77J Street Sport slip-on end can to do just that. Both Stainless Steel End Cap and Carbon End Cap versions will be available in three sleeve versions; Stainless, Titanium and Metal Magic and features a removable dB-Killer baffle. Peak power and torque are improved, with a significant weight saving over stock.

As a fresh reminder, we’ll tell you that the CBR250R comes fitted with Combined ABS, a class-first, a system that includes a Combined Brake System (CBS) and an Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS).
